Mods For Millie

The Mods for Millie charity gig at The Blue Anchor on Easter Saturday went brilliantly. So far £3300 has been raised for the North Tees Neonatal Unit and there's still bits coming in.

The line up was great featuring Serious Chord Squad/Enzo Esposito From Squire/Chris Pope from The Chords/Darron Robinson from The Sha La Las /Speed of Sound/Pippa Smith from Get Ready/Luke Gallagher/Coco La Funk/Kevin Moth. Then there was the Barbecue and the raffle. Big Thanks to Sam Molnar and Sean Cooke for all the the help and advice. All the Scooters for turning up. Everyone for turning up!

As the stage was quite big I got to play in stereo for the first time in ages using the VOX AC30 and the ROLAND JC77. A nice big guitar sound. However, the star of the show was the ELECTROHARMONIX B9 keyboard pedal. Makes your guitar sound like a Hammond Organ.

This coming Sunday 3rd April it's the premiere of THE BITTER SPRINGS FILM, "Some Muthas Do 'Ave 'Em." It's being screened at The Bloated Mallard pub on Hampton Hill High Street Roll up at 6:30pm for a 7:00pm start. I've even got a speaking part and the star guest is LARRY DANN from The Bill and Carry On films.
